Pilates Classes

We specialise in group reformer Pilates classes, focusing on full body movement to help our clients activate, strengthen, align, lengthen and tone. 

At Balanced Movement we passionately believe Pilates is for everybody. We aim to empower you to move better, feel better in your every day life and cultivate an environment of self-love and appreciation for our bodies ability to move! 

Our goal is to help you improve in each and every class you attend. Every class has limited spaces meaning we have a small and intimate group, enabling our teachers to give you the attention and personal focus needed for you to reach your goals. 

 

1:1 pilates initial consult

The 1:1 consult with our physiotherapist, Hannah, is where she gets to know you, your body and your specific goals (Barmera only).

Barmera Reformer

All Barmera reformer classes are open level. Our skilled team offer options for all levels of experience and ability and will cater to each individuals needs on the day. 

Although these classes are frequently waitlisted, we strongly encourage you to join the waitlist as this often moves down and you will secure a spot.

Barmera CLINICAL CIRCUIT

Working on your specific goal, whether it be recovering from injury, wanting to specifically target one area of your body or you simply want the physio all to yourself for a session – our Clinical Pilates is the class for you!

Renmark
BEGINNER FRIENDLY

Our Renmark beginner friendly class is a very safe space to get to know the reformer and take the general strength class at a slower pace with others also new to the movement!

First time on a reformer? Wanting to take things a little slower? This class is for you!

Don’t worry, our trained instructors can always alter the level of the exercise exactly to suit you and your body on the day! .

Ran weekly - Thursdays at 6:30PM.   

Mens Club

We have created these Male Only classes to break the stigma that Pilates is ‘for women’ and to make the gents comfortable joining us in the studio! 

Pilates will promote the improvement of posture, balance, flexibility and mobility while relieving tension and stresses FOR EVERYBODY. 

For our athletes, Pilates will compliment your existing training regime by developing your full body strength and flexibility, ultimately reducing the risk of injury. 

Not quite convinced? Ask any of the men already attending our classes – it’s definitely not the easy walk in the park they expected... 

Mums + Bubs

Pre natal and post natal classes are all physio led and are hosted in both Barmera + Renmark (soon), weekly. 

Focusing on strengthening pelvic floor, deep abdominals and pelvic muscles helping you both prior to birth, and in your journey to recover + regain your strength and fitness after birth. 

Both pre and post natal classes allow you meet other new mums and coffees afterward are always encouraged.. 

Both pre and post natal Pilates require a 1:1 consult prior to attending classes.
